KOAST INTRODUCES THEIR ALL TERRAIN TWIN.
We settled on this design because of its versitility. With the combination of camber between the feet and rocker at the nose and tail, we created a board that has the catch free ride of a rocker but the stabilty of a traditional camber board. By placing the reverse camber at the nose and tail we have created a technique which allows the rider to adjust the effective edge while at the same time adjusting the nose and tail height all by appling pressure at the bindings.
The tradional camber between your feet works best by keeping the board very stable at high speeds and retains pop and stiffness when charging hard lines.
The Rocker starting from under the bindings to the nose-tail means less work in the steep and deep, easy nose presses on boxes, rails and flat ground and it also loves to carve. The board will naturally flex to a perfect arc.
A true aggressive all mountain twin only made when you order, so you get a board fresh off the press...

Koast snowboards are hand made to order. They are not mass-produced but hand made in Colorado USA. You have the choice to create your own board by choosing a board shape, size and available artwork. Koast artwork comes from various corners of the world. Artwork is available in all board shapes and sizes.
We guarantee our technology, materials and workmanship to be top shelf quality year after year. While our technologies are imporving constantly behind the scenes our artwork does not disappear as quickly. We strongly believe in the artists that collaborate with us and that their art deserves to be supported and acknoledged by as many people as possible which has lead us to the decision not to turn over all our artwork as quickly as other brands.
After purchasing a Koast snowboard delivery time is approx 3-4 weeks and all boards come with a free Koast jersey board bag and 1 year warranty for all workmanship.
Topsheet
We print on top of our boards using a dye sublimation. This is a heat transfer process, which dyes the polyester fibers in the fabric material. The final component is a durable rubberized layer that is laminated over all of these components when the board is actually pressed.
Symmetriflex Wood Cores
The production process for our Symmetriflex cores ensures that material properties like density and stiffness are identical from edge to edge. We then take extra care to ensure that the core’s dimensions are consistent from edge to edge to within .0005in. This careful craftsmanship makes our boards smoother and more responsive.
Symmetriflex C: Twin and freeride boards
Bookmatched blend of aspen, poplar and ash. The main field of the core is aspen with poplar stringers through the insert pattern and variable width ash perimeter for performance engineered torsional stiffness.
Sintered DuraSurf 2001
Sintered DuraSurf 2001 is one of the most abrasion resistant base materials on the planet. IMS 4000 Elektra is one of the fastest. We use the right base for the job our twin tip boards get DuraSurf 2001.
Triaxial Fiberglass
Triaxial fiberglass has fibers running in three different directions. Unlike the biaxial (fibers in two directions) glass being used by many other manufacturers, triaxial glass enables us to build more torsional stiffness.Torsional stiffness is the single most important factor in the board’s ability to hold an edge on ice and execute a clean, pure carve.
Rubber Damping
We’ve added just enough damping to our boards to produce the needed vibration reduction.
Full Wrap 48 Rockwell Edge
By wrapping the edge all the way around the base, we’ve eliminated edge pullout and delams in the tip and tail.
Advanced Sidecut
Traditional radial sidecuts tend to pressure (transmit the rider’s weight) the board’s edge near the waist of the board, between the rider’s feet. This leaves the tip and tail free to bounce around in uneven conditions and makes for a very short unstable turning surface. By moving the edge pressure farther away from the rider, we’ve generated a longer, more stable turning surface that makes our twin boards perform as well at 40 mph as they do at 5 mph.

For this snowboard I wanted the equivalent to Samuel L Jackson's lightsaber in the Star Wars prequels, and Bret Hart's spandex in WWF, I wanted something bright pink and bad-ass. I wanted the snow underneath to glow pink like a hoverboard whenever the snowboarder hovered above the ground.
I crammed the board with enough art death and pop imagery so it is like you're suffocating in a vat of bubblegum.
